I accidentally became an AI image expert...
So I did something embarrassing last week... Rick Mulready asked me to teach an AI image-generation workshop to his community. (He runs "The AI Playbook" - very solid program btw.) Here's why it was embarrassing... I do not consider myself an expert in AI image generation. Like... that's literally what I told him when he asked. But he saw some images I created for another presentation and insisted. And Rick's awesome, so I said screw it... Let's go. Here's where it gets interesting though... When I sat down to prep for the workshop... I realized I'd accidentally stumbled onto something POWERFUL. Turns out I was using this technique Allie Miller tweeted about...
Where you use AI to help you do better things with...AI. And holy moly... it works WAY better than me just winging it. Here's what my "accidental genius" process looks like: Instead of just throwing random prompts at MidJourney or Ideogram... I use different AIs to:
And lemme show you what happened... Look at all these options I got from just ONE concept... One of the workshop attendees said it felt "game-changing" Because she could suddenly visualize EXACTLY what they wanted... Instead of "piecing things together that never quite fit." And apparently, it "blew people's minds!" But here's the thing... The secret isn't just "better prompts." It's understanding how to create these multi-AI workflows... And letting AI do what it does best. (Perfect example of working WITH AI as a creative partner instead of fighting against it.) Let me know if you've tried anything like this. Or if I'm late to the party and everyone's been doing this forever... Stay Curious, P.S. Remember those beta spots for irreplaceable+ I mentioned?
P.P.S. If you're interested in joining Rick Mulready's "The AI Playbook" community where I did this workshop, here is my affiliate link (full transparency - I do get a commission if you join through my link, but I'd recommend it either way). Check out my SubStack to become... |
